BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 17. Gasoline prices have decreased over the week in Tajikistan's capital, Trend reports with reference to the asiaplustj.info.
Currently, 1 liter of RON 92 gasoline costs 9.5 somoni ($0.92) at Dushanbe gas stations, which is a decrease of 5 percent compared to the previous week's price of 10 somoni ($0.97).
The price of 1 liter of RON 95 gasoline has also dropped to 9.8 somoni ($0.95), compared to 10.5 somoni ($1.02) in the previous week.
Meanwhile, diesel fuel and liquefied gas prices remain unchanged: a liter of diesel fuel in the capital is still 12.6 somoni ($1.23), and a liter of liquefied gas is - 6.2 somoni ($0.60).
Earlier, the Antimonopoly Service under the Government of Tajikistan noted that prices for fuel and lubricants in the winter period usually decrease due to a decrease in demand.
As of October 17, 2022, the official exchange rate set by the National Bank of Tajikistan is 10,21TJS/1USD.
