BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 3. Russia is going to provide free technical assistance for the development of the tax administration system in Tajikistan, Trend reports via Tajik media.
The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Finance of Russia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, within the frame of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s visit to Tajikistan.
In particular, Russian and Tajik representatives signed 9 documents on cooperation following the negotiations in a narrow format.
Russia and Tajikistan also signed agreements on cooperation in healthcare, medical education and science, on interaction in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.
Additionally, Russia and Tajikistan agreed on the mutual application of electronic systems for certification of the origin of goods. The sides also approved an agreement on the mutual recognition of academic degrees and academic titles.
Among the signed documents are the program for sports development for 2023-2025, the road map for the development of truism, and other documents.
Mikhail Mishustin made his first official trip to Tajikistan as a Prime Minister on March 2. The visit is planned to last two days. Among others, in the frame of the visit, Mishustin hold talks with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, and the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda.
