BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 14. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei, Trend reports citing the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.
At the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues in the field of energy, stressed the high level of trust-based dialogue between the top leadership of the two countries and noted positive bilateral cooperation within the framework of international organizations, in particular the UN.
In the sphere of trade and economic cooperation, it was noted that there are favorable opportunities for expanding partnerships in the fields of energy, industry, high technologies and ensuring energy security.
Furthermore, the parties noted the importance of the "green economy" and exchanged views on the promotion of innovative technologies and expert skills in this area.
