ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 3. Türkiye's trade turnover with Turkmenistan amounted to $2.11 billion, from January through September 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), these figures for the specified period are 43.5 percent more than in the first nine months of last year ($1.47 billion).
Turkmenistan's exports to Türkiye from January through September of this year amounted to $1.37 billion, which is 2 times more than in the same period of 2022, when it amounted to $670.74 million.
At the same time, Türkiye's exports to Turkmenistan during the reporting period decreased by almost 7 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2022 ($800.84 million), while reaching $745.04 million.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Türkiye and Turkmenistan in 2022 reached $2.06 billion, reflecting a 21.8 percent increase compared to 2021 when it was $1.69 billion.
