The successful experience of the State Concern Turkmenhimiya in processing gas into gasoline using the methanol process developed by Topsoe can serve as a basis for further development of similar production facilities and attracting investments in the chemical industry of Turkmenistan, licensing director of Topsoe Ricard Vannby said, Trend reports.
He made the remark at a panel discussion on “monetization of natural gas - a key transition and low carbon fuel” within the framework of the international conference and exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2024” in Ashgabat.
According to Vannby, the innovative technological process significantly increases the added value of natural gas, turning it into a high-quality fuel capable of meeting the growing domestic and international demand.
