The Senate (upper house) of the Uzbek parliament will hold its next plenary session on Dec. 13, said the upper house’s information service citing the decision of the Council of Senate.
The agenda of the plenary session is expected to include the issues on the state budget, as well as the program on creation of job places and ensuring employment of the population in 2017, according to the information service.
Meanwhile, the agenda will include several laws aimed at consistent reformation and liberalization of all spheres of the country’s political and socio-economic life.
Other issues related to the authority of the Uzbek Senate will also be discussed at the plenary session.
The bicameral parliament was formed in 2005 in Uzbekistan.
Sessions of the Uzbek Senate are held if necessary, but at least three times a year.
