TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 29. Uzbekistan’s coal, coke, and briquette trade turnover amounted to $97.4 million from January through July 2024, Trend reports.
According to the data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure is 0.6 percent lower compared to the same period last year ($98 million in January–July 2023).
The exports of coal, coke, and briquettes reached $1.4 million from January through July 2024.
The country’s imports of coal, coke, and briquettes totaled $96 million during this period. The volume of imports shows a 2 percent decrease over the year ($98 million in January–July 2023).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s trade turnover volume of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials amounted to $3.1 billion from January through July 2024. This figure has increased by 72.2 percent compared to the same period last year ($1.8 billion in January–July 2023).
The volume of exports of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials from Uzbekistan amounted to $793 million, while imports reached $2.4 billion during this period.
