TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 23. Uzbekistan manufactured coke and refined oil products worth 17.1 trillion soums ($1.3 billion) from January through August 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency shows that this figure has increased by 9.6 percent compared to the same period last year (15.6 trillion soums, or $1.2 billion in January–August 2023).
The share of coke and refined oil products in the structure of Uzbekistan's manufacturing industry amounted to 4.1 percent.
Noteworthy that Uzbekistan's enterprises manufactured industrial products worth 505.8 trillion soums ($39.7 billion) from January through August 2024. This figure has increased by 26.6 percent year-on-year (400.6 trillion soums, or $31.4 billion in January–August 2023).
In the grand scheme of production, the lion's share was shouldered by the manufacturing enterprises, whose output hit a staggering 420.7 trillion soums ($33 billion).
