TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 15. Tajik entrepreneur Khayriddin Boboev has announced plans to construct a liquefied gas storage facility in Fergana region's Besharik district of Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
The facility, boasting a capacity of 2,000 tons, will be funded lock, stock, and barrel through the entrepreneur’s own investments.
Moreover, the project aims to provide a reliable supply of liquefied gas to local vehicles, social service facilities, and the general population. The initiative is expected to enhance the region’s energy infrastructure and contribute to the sustainable development of the Besharik district.
During a meeting with the governor of the Bukhara region Khayrullo Bozorov, and head of the Besharik district Rasuljon Jorayev, the parties discussed the project’s potential impact and agreed to continue negotiations to determine the best location and finalize the details.
This project is a shining example of the blossoming partnership between Uzbekistan and its neighbors, putting the pedal to the metal on infrastructure development and energy solutions.
