Georgian Foreign Minister Blames Russian College of International Blackmail

Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / David Bakradze, Georgian Foreign Minister, called the statement of Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister, as an international blackmail. "Such statement is uncovered threat against Georgia and Ukraine, as well as NATO countries," Georgian Minister stated.

Recently, Lavrov stated that Russia would not allow Georgia and Ukraine to join NATO. Lavrov stated that Moscow attempted in preventing the grant of Membership Action Plan (MAP) to these countries during NATO summit in Bucharest.

"Such a statement demonstrates theat against the NATO countries. And I would never bear such a blackmail," Bnakradze said.
