Georgian exports from January through October 2021 amounted to $3.3 billion – an increase of 24.9 percent, compared to $2.7 billion in the same period of 2020, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The share of the top ten trading partners by exports in total Georgia’s exports in the reporting period of 2021 amounted to 77.4 percent, the report said.
TOP-5 commodities in total Georgian exports (Jan. through Oct. 2021):
Copper ores and concentrates – 19.3 percent of total exports, or $655.6 million (decrease of 1.8 percent, compared to $667.7 million over the same period of 2020);
Ferro-alloys – 11.1 percent of total exports, or $377.9 million (an increase of 90.6 percent, compared to $198.2 million over the same period of 2020);
Vehicles – 11 percent of total exports, or $373.2 million (an increase of 11.2 percent, compared to $335.5 million over the same period of 2020);
Natural wine – 5.6 percent of total exports, or $189.1 million (an increase of 15.9 percent, compared to $163.1 million over the same period of 2020);
Alcoholic beverages – 3.6 percent of total exports, or $121.9 million (an increase of 22.3 percent, compared to $99.7 million over the same period of 2020).
