Hamas has accepted an Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza, Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos said on Wednesday according to the website of Spanish newspaper El Pais.
The report said Israel would respond to the proposal on Thursday. A spokesman for the Spanish Foreign Ministry said she had no information on any comments by Moratinos, Reuters reported.
