NATO said Friday it would send more military cargo planes to Pakistan to deliver humanitarian aid to the flood-ravaged country, dpa reported.
A transport aircraft would depart later Friday from Leipzig, Germany, carrying 100 tons of relief goods such as power generators and water pumps donated by the German government, a statement said.
Another cargo would leave "during the weekend" from the Germany's Geilenkirchen airbase, carrying 16 tons of power generators, boats, food and clothing donated by a non-governmental organisation.
Last week the western military alliance sent one of its planes to Islamabad to deliver power generators, water pumps and tents donated by Slovakia.
Pakistan is a key ally in the NATO-led war against Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan.
