Turkey’s export of cement to Azerbaijan increased in January 2020, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend on Feb. 17.
In January 2020, Turkey’s export of cement to Azerbaijan increased by 18.81 percent compared to January 2019, and amounted to $2.9 million.
In 2019, export of cement from Turkey to Azerbaijan increased by 5 percent compared to 2018 and exceeded $41.2 million.
In the meantime, Turkey’s export of cement increased by 17.8 percent and reached $3.5 billion.
In 2019, export of cement from Turkey amounted to 1.9 percent of the country's total export.
Turkey's export increased by 2.1 percent in 2019 and amounted to $171.5 billion compared to 2018. In the meantime, Turkey's import dropped by 9.1 percent and amounted to $202.7 billion.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover in 2019 exceeded $374.2 billion.
