Amount of cargo transshipped via Turkish ports by Israeli vessels revealed

Cargo transshipment from Israel through ports of Turkey amounted to over 1.2 million tons in January 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.

Last month, the volume of cargo transshipment from Israel via Turkish ports by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 126,079 tons, while the ships flying the Israeli flag carried 30,121 tons of cargo, and ships flying flags of other countries accounted for slightly over a million tons.

Over the reporting period, the volume of cargo transshipment in transit from Israel via Turkey's ports amounted to 136,177 tons.

The total cargo transshipment through ports of Turkey exceeded 32.9 million tons in January 2020.

Cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 2.4 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying flags of their country of origin amounted to over 1.5 million tons, while the vessels flying flags of other countries carried just over 29 million tons of cargo.

In total, over 6.1 million tons of cargo were transported through Turkish ports.
