Volume of cargo transshipped via Turkish ports by Moroccan vessels in January disclosed

Cargo transshipment from Morocco through ports of Turkey amounted to 174,059 tons in January 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.

Last month, the volume of cargo transshipment from Morocco via Turkish ports by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 21,574 tons, while the ships flying flags of other countries carried 152,485 tons of cargo.

No vessel from Morocco flying the Moroccan flag transshipped cargo via Turkish ports during the reported period.

In January 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment in transit from Morocco via Turkey's ports amounted to 43,797 tons.

The total cargo transshipment through ports of Turkey exceeded 32.9 million tons in January 2020.

Cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 2.4 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying flags of their country of origin amounted to over 1.5 million tons, while the vessels flying flags of other countries carried just over 29 million tons of cargo.

In total, over 6.1 million tons of cargo were transported in transit through Turkish ports.
