Turkish ports handled 1.04 million vehicles in the first half of 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
According to the ministry, Ro-Ro ships delivered 413,787 vehicles to Turkish ports during the reporting period.
"In the first half of 2021, 629,317 vehicles were sent from Turkish ports by Ro-Ro ships," the ministry said.
The ministry also noted that the Turkish ports handled 173,989 vehicles in June this year.
"In June 2021, Ro-Ro ships delivered 80,364 vehicles to Turkish ports. At the same time, 93,625 vehicles were sent from the ports," the ministry said.
