BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. Russia's oil production is projected to reach 10.57 million barrels per day (mb/d) in 2025, Trend reports.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) has revised its current oil production forecast upward by 0.1 mb/d compared to last month’s estimates.
Russia's crude oil production is expected to stabilize at approximately 10.55 mb/d in the first quarter of 2025, with a slight decline to 10.51 mb/d in the second quarter. However, the upward trend is anticipated to resume, reaching 10.54 mb/d in the third quarter and 10.66 mb/d in the fourth quarter of 2025.
For 2024, Russia's oil output is now forecasted at 10.54 mb/d, an increase of 0.17 mb/d from earlier estimates. Production in the first quarter of 2024 is expected to be 10.83 mb/d, declining to 10.55 mb/d in the second quarter and 10.23 mb/d in the third quarter. The output for the fourth quarter of 2024 is anticipated to be around 10.44 mb/d.
The EIA estimates that Russia's oil production for 2023 was 10.91 mb/d.
Meanwhile, the EIA forecasts that liquids production in Eurasia is expected to reach 13.41 mb/d in 2024, with further growth to 13.57 mb/d in 2025.
