ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 8. The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, put pen to paper on a decree regarding the operations of the French Development Agency group in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Trend reports.

“The head of country signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the French Republic on the Functioning of the French Development Agency Group in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the statement reads.
To note, in early November, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made a working visit to Paris, France. In the context of diplomatic negotiations with President Emmanuel Macron, the strategic discourse encompassed the prospective development of a nuclear power generation facility in Kazakhstan.
