Epizootic situation with anthrax amongst cattle in Azerbaijan is steady and stable, the State Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan said.
In recent years, as a result of preventive measures, the disease of anthrax amongst cattle in Azerbaijan was not fixed. In the first half, the animals in all farms were vaccinated. The vaccine was purchased through funds allocated from the Public budget.
Therefore, the information on the spread of anthrax amongst animals in Azerbaijan is groundless.
Vaccination of cattle against the disease is carried out by the State Service in time. Veterinary Service has a sufficient number of required vaccine.
