New residential buildings in Azerbaijan with full connection to power lines, and meters can be registered in the State Commission to get authorization for operation.
This provision is envisaged within the draft amendments to the Law "Power Industry", presented to the Azerbaijani Parliament by Vice-Speaker, Chairman of the Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology Valeh Alasgarov.
Similar changes are also included in the laws "Gas supply" and "Water Supply and Sanitation".
The Azerbaijani Parliament ratified the amendments to the legislation.
