Total area of housing in Azerbaijan, put into operation during the first quarter amounted to 215.300 square meters, or 80.4 percent more than the same period of last year, the State Statistics Committee said.

About 823.1 million manat or 31,6 percent more than in the first quarter of 2009 was invested for construction of facilities, about 813.7 million (87 percent more) - objects in the service sector.
Total investments in main capital amounted to 1.6368 billion manat increasing by 4.9 percent.
