Yesterday Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon met with the visiting World Bank Vice-President for the Europe and Central Asia Region Philippe Le Houérou to discuss cooperation in many directions, President's press service told AP.
WB official expressed his satisfaction with the recent international conference on migration, which was held in Dushanbe and in which he took part, and aid that the World Bank is ready to provide assistance to Tajikistan to control migration and organize training courses for potential labor migrants.
"The sides also discussed WB's support to projects aimed at socio-economic development in Tajikistan," the source has said.
