Azerbaijan, Baku, August11 /Trend/

Iran ranked as China's second oil supplier in June by exporting 650,000 barrels of oil per day, Fars News Agency reported quoting OPEC monthly report.

Iran surpassed Angola and ranked second as an oil exporter to China, supplying 13.5 percent of China's oil imports.

Analysts believe that US sanctions against Iran changed the country's oil export directions to China.

According to OPEC annual statistic for 2010, Iran produced averagely 3.54 million barrels per day. Iran exported 2.246 million barrels per day in 2010.

Saudi Arabia ranked as the first oil supplier, possessing 19.8 percent of China's oil imports. Angola ranked third, holding 10 percent of China's import.

The OPEC monthly report indicates that Iran's oil production in July had been reduced by 31,000 barrels of oil per day, comparing to same time last year.
