In January-July 2013, Azerbaijan produced 25.5 million tons of oil and gas condensate compared to more than 25.8 million tons during the same period in 2012, according to a statement posted on the official website of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan on Tuesday.
Azerbaijan produced 42.98 million tons of crude oil and gas condensate in 2012, which is 5.3 percent less than in 2011.
According to the report, the bulk of oil production in January-July this year fell on the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of oil and gas fields and the Shah Deniz gas condensate field developed jointly with foreign partners.
Gas production in January-July this year amounted to 10.3 billion cubic meters (sales gas), similar to that in January-July last year.
Gas production in 2012 totaled 17.24 billion cubic meters (excluding associated gas), which is 5.4 percent more than in 2011.
