Turkey has imported a total of 159,121 tons of crude oil in October 2020, which accounted for 4.69 percent of total Turkey’s crude oil imports, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
Overall Turkey’s import of crude oil from Kazakhstan from Jan. through Oct. 2020 amounted to 2.6 million tons.
Thus, Turkey’s import of Kazakh crude oil decreased by 61.5 percent compared to Jan. 2020 (413,547 tons), and by 68.4 percent compared to the volume imported in Sept. 2020 (504,279 tons).
The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkey amounted to $2.5 billion over the first ten months of 2020, compared to $2.6 billion during the same period of 2019.
Kazakhstan’s export to Turkey amounted to $1.7 billion over the period from January through Oct. 2020, compared to $1.9 million during the same period of 2019.
In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Turkey amounted to nearly $775.3 million over the reporting period, compared to $674.05 million during the same period of 2019.
The total volume of Kazakhstan’s trade turnover amounted to $70.4 billion over the period from January through Oct. 2020 which indicates a decrease from $81.1 billion during the same period of 2019.
Kazakhstan’s export amounted to $39.2 billion during the reporting period of 2020 ($48.1 billion in the same period of 2019), whereas imports amounted to $31.2 billion ($32.9 billion in 2019).
