BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. The total value of production in Azerbaijan's mining industry amounted to 16.2 billion manat ($9.5 billion) from January through May 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that this figure decreased by 2.4 percent year on year.
The field's main product, marketable oil production, was 11.4 million tons, while commercial natural gas production was 16.2 billion cubic meters.
Compared to the first five months of last year, marketable oil production decreased by 4.9 percent, while commercial gas production increased by 1.7 percent.
