Fujitsu Technology Solutions plans to expand its presence on the IT market in Azerbaijan, Regional Manager Gennady Gerasimov said.
Fujitsu Technology Solutions is a subsidiary of the Japanese Fujitsu, including Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Africa and India. It's a leading infrastructure solutions provider.
Gerasimov said the company plans to expand its presence on the Azerbaijani market. The only question is in what form this will happen, he added.
"We are considering three major aspects as the main tools. That is, as a representative office, a LLC, or in another form of company. In general, our expectations are linked to the corporate segment where we directly target our efforts," he said. "The Azerbaijani market is sufficiently transparent and virtually any vendor works comfortably."
Azerbaijan has a strong consumer market. The company's position is solid in this segment.
However, Gerasimov said the company is still working to achieve strong positioning in the corporate segment. At the same time, the company already has several large corporate customers such as the Interior Ministry, Labor Ministry, State Statistics Committee, and Communications and IT Ministry.
