Dilmanc project presented a Dilmanc speech recognition system to the Baku Telephone Communications Production Unit to render information and reference services based on 109 service, Dilmanc Project Manager Abulfat Fatullayev told Trend.
He said the system is fully ready for trial operation and its use in the operator's network is under consideration.
"The decision to use speech recognition system in 109 reference service will depend on the Communications and IT Ministry," Fatullayev added.
The device is controlled by voice commands, which allow gathering news from RSS- channels, search for and publicize the availability of the literature requested by speaker in the electronic database of library, control e-mail, inform about the presence of e-mails in inbox, reply to letters.
As Baku Telephone Communications Director General Beytulla Huseynov said earlier, the speech recognition system will be integrated into 109 reference service after completing its transfer to electron type.
The Dilmanc system will be integrated with information database of 109 reference service on the instructions of the Communications and IT Minister Ali Abbasov.
