The results of presidential elections in France won't affect the cooperation relations in the military field with Kazakhstan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Astana, Jean-Charles Bertone told Trend.

"As you know, defense ministries of our countries signed an agreement on transit of military goods to Afghanistan through the territory of Kazakhstan. It will remain in force," Bertone said.

Bertone said both Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande called for the speedy withdrawal of troops of the military alliance from Afghanistan. So in this regard everything will remain unchanged.
