The Kazakh Prime Minister is to visit Poland, the Polish Ambassador Jacek Klyuchkovski told Trend in Astana.
"We are now preparing for the visit of Kazakhstan Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov, which is due in the second half of May this year. We hope it will be a step ahead in the development of our cooperation. We need some major mutual strategic projects," Klyuchkovski told.
He also said that during the visit of the Kazakh government head to Warsaw, it is planned to identify the new tendencies and possibilities of strategic cooperation.
"This will help to direct targeted government support. If we see that Kazakhstan is a country of economic success, we can direct state support to those companies interested in linking to the Kazakh market. For that we have the tools of business support for establishing contacts abroad," he said.
He diplomat said that he was indicating the targeted programmes and projects which will be agreed with the Kazakh government.
Klyuchkovski said that last year the Polish Government acknowledged Kazakhstan as being one of the five prospective countries for the Polish economy.
He said that it would be a third meeting for the heads of government of the two countries. The last meeting took place in 2003.
