As a result mistrust towards a brighter future, unemployment, external migration increased in the country. The opposition began to be exposed to all the more persecution. The rights of the citizens are violated. The people could no longer stand an authoritarian government, wiped them off, having conducted two-revolutions," said Roza Otunbayeva.

She noted that the last 20 years the people of Kyrgyzstan has been going in the ways of overcoming the difficulties, searching for the way of development, and various reforms. "One of the bitter lessons of search of democracy are the mistakes made during all these years. We should take into account all these mistakes in future, in order to be developed in a right way," added Roza Otunbayeva.
