DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, July 26. "BTT Impianti", an Italian industrial company, is interested in investing in the extraction of gold, platinum, palladium, copper, and silver in Tajikistan, Trend reports.
The discussions on the matter were held between the Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of Tajikistan and the head of one of the representative office of "BTT Impianti" in Iran on strengthening bilateral cooperation, which took place in Dushanbe.
During the meeting, the committee chairman informed the potential investors about the investment opportunities in Tajikistan. In turn, the representative of the Italian company said that it intends to invest in Tajikistan's mining and trading sectors.
In conclusion, the parties expressed their readiness to enhance collaboration in these priority sectors.

According to the Statistical Agency of Tajikistan, the value of industrial production in the country totaled 20.71 billion somoni ($1.9 billion) from January through June 2023, which is 10.3 percent more than in the first half of 2022.
