Uzbekistan reveals volume of industrial output for 10M2024

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 21. Uzbekistan's enterprises manufactured industrial products worth 704.1 trillion soums ($54.7 billion) from January through October 2024.

The data obtained by Trend from the country’s Statistics Agency shows that this figure has increased by 36.8 percent year-on-year (519.1 trillion soums, or $40.3 billion in January–October 2023).

In the structure of production, the largest weight fell on the enterprises of the manufacturing industry, the output of which amounted to 596.8 trillion soums ($46.4 billion). The mining and quarrying industry ranked second with a production volume worth 55.4 trillion soums ($4.3 billion) during this period. Uzbekistan’s electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply production reached 48.1 trillion soums ($3.7 billion), while water supply, sewerage, waste collection, and utilization totaled 3.8 trillion soums ($295.6 million).

During this period, Uzbekistan's Tashkent city (144.2 trillion soums or $11.2 billion), Navoi (115.8 trillion soums or $9 billion), Tashkent (109.2 trillion soums or $8.4 billion), and Andijan (68.4 trillion soums or $5.3 billion) regions accounted for the largest share in the total volume of industrial production in the country.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan manufactured industrial products worth 629.2 trillion soums ($49.1 billion) from January through September 2024. This indicator has increased by 36.8 percent year-on-year (459.9 trillion soums, or $35.8 billion in January–September 2023).
