The final details of the fourth Iranian stock exchange are being ironed out and the exchange is scheduled to open in six months.
The Securities and Exchange Organization is currently reviewing the energy exchange's regulations and bylaws, the Securities and Exchange News Agency (SENA) reports.
Discussions are also ongoing about the software to be used and the mechanism for trade in energy carriers.
All organizations wishing to add their energy-related products to the exchange can apply for approval, but first the exchange's bylaws and regulations have to be finalized.
