BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 30. The import of non-oil products by Iran's Isfahan province grew during six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024), Director General of Iran's Isfahan Province Customs Administration Rasoul Kuhestani told reporters, Trend reports.
He explained that this figure increased by 33 percent in value and 20 percent in weight terms compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through September 22, 2023).
The official added that 77,000 tons of non-oil products worth $357 million were imported by Isfahan province during six months this year.
Kuhestani added that in six months, various types of production equipment worth $111 million, electrical equipment worth $56 million, and aluminum worth $21 million were imported by the province.
To note, Iran imported non-oil products worth $32.6 billion during the six months.
