Iran crude oil’s weekly price remains unchanged

Iran’s crude oil price remained almost unchanged during the week that ended Sept. 9, Mehr news agency reported Sept. 18.

Each barrel of Iran’s Light oil was sold at $43.65 during the week to Sept. 9, or $0.05 more compared to the previous week.

Meanwhile the price of Iranian Heavy oil stood at $41.86 indicating a slight decrease by $0.07 in comparison with the preceding week.

The average price of Iran’s Light oil this year was $38.5, while the average price of Heavy oil was $36.32, which is over $13 less compared to 2015.

Iran last saw record low oil prices in 1998 when its oil was traded in the markets below $10 per barrel.
