BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 10. The export of ready-made garments from Türkiye to China increased by 13.4 percent from January through December 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 and totaled $552.3 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
“In December 2024, Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $50.1 million to China, which is 39.7 percent more than in December 2023,” the statement of the ministry reads.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's ready-made garment exports decreased 6.9 percent year-on-year to $17.9 billion in the period from January through December 2024.
“Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $1.2 billion in December last year, down 12.9 percent compared to December 2023,” the information notes.
To note, over the past 12 months (from December 2023 through December 2024), Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $17.9 billion.
