Today commemorates a year since the bloody event in the Azerbaijani State Oil Academy (ASOA).
Twenty nine-year-old Farda Gadirov began shooting in the second building of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy April 30 2009. About 12 people were killed, 13 - injured. Gadirov was surrounded by the police and committed suicide.
Several individuals were accused of committing terror act in Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.
Amirov Javidan Farman oglu was charged under articles 214.2.1, 214.2.3 (terrorism), 28,120.2.1 (preparation for premeditated murder), 120.2.1, 120.2.3, 120.2.4 , 120.2.5, 120.2.7, 120.2.10, 120.2.11, 120.2.12 (premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances), 29,120.2.1, 29,120.2.3, 29,120.2.4, 29,120.2.5, 29,120.2.7, 29,120.2. 10, 29,120.2.11, 29,120.2.12 (attempted premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances), 206.4 (smuggling committed by an organized group), 228.2.2, 228.3 (illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of firearms, component parts , ammunition (other than smooth-bore hunting weapons and ammunition to it), explosives or explosive devices) and 234.1 (illegal manufacture, production, acquisition, storage, transport, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or precursors) of the Criminal Code. Aliyev Nadir Shirhan oglu and Suleymanov Najaf Nowruz oglu are charged under 214.2.1, 214.2.3, 120.2.1, 120.2.3, 120.2.4, 120.2.5, 120.2.7, 120.2.11, 120.2.12, 29,120.2.1 , 29,120.2.3, 29,120.2.4, 29,120.2.5, 29,120.2.7, 29,120.2.11, 29,120.2.12, 206.4 and 228.3, Gabulov Ariz Zahid oglu - under articles 206.3.2 and 228.2.1 of the Criminal Code.
A criminal case against Farda Gadirov was closed because his death.
