Georgian Foreign Ministry wants to prolong OSCE mission

Today Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze met with Special Envoy of OSCE Chairman Charalampos Christopoulos. Deputy Minister Alexander Nalbandov also attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on furthering the OSCE mission's activity in Georgia. The Georgian officials stressed the importance of prolonging the mission.

The officials also discussed supplying gas and water to the Tskhinvali region and nearby villages. Georgia expressed its readiness to continue close cooperation with the OSCE to solve these issues.
