The statement that Ex-Chief of the Central Administration of Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan Republic was directly involved in criminal activity made by Haji Mammadov will be investigated, Azerbaijan Internal Minister Ramil Usubov told journalists in Salyan on August 10.
It should be mentioned that the former officer of the Central Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Azerbaijan Republic Haji Mammadov during all these days repeatedly stated in the Court on Grave Crimes that his former Chief Zakir Nasirov had taken part in kidnapping and received a certain share from it. R. Usubov told that there will be an investigation on this issue that will establish how much H. Mammadov`s statements are groundless or not.
The Minister also commented the death of the Karabakh War veteran, the resident of Mingachavir Rasim Alishev in the Chief of Criminal Investigation of the Police Department of Mingachavir City Police Major Ilgar Abbasov` cabinet. According to the Internal Minister the criminal investigation is being held on this issue, and that the police major do not have enough grounds to keep R. Aliyeva. I have dismissed him (Ilgar Aliyev - Trend`s note). The investigation is being held.
It should be mentioned that day or two ago the Press-Service of the internal ministry reported that I. Abbasov brutally breached regulations of the remedial legislation and was expelled from the law machinery.
