Azerbaijani Ombudsman has applied to the corresponding agencies to solve the issue concerning arrested young active members peacefully.

Elmira Suleymanova met with Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizadeh detained in Baku's jail, Azerbaijani Ombudsman's office told Trend on August 29.

According to the official information, drunk Emin Milli (Abdullayev), Adnan Hajizadeh and other five people have beaten Vusal Mammadov and Babek Huseynov when Mammadov and Huseynov demanded to cease abusing in Lebonese restaurant on Julu 9 at 18:00.

Young people are accused on the articles 221.2.1 (hooliganism) and 127 (intentional health hazard) of the Criminal Code.

Their lawyer said that a complaint concerning the court's decision will be submitted to the European court.

Young people deny accusations and call this arrest as contracted one.

During a meeting with the Ombudsman, young activists have not pleaded themselves guilty in the incident, and called completed investigation as not impartial. They informed the Ombudsman that they want to resolve the matter through conciliation. Young activists noted that the information in some newspapers about the political reasons for their arrest is not true and that they are not members of any political party, as well as have no intentions towards the authorities and opposition.

Hajizadeh and Milli did not complain about terms of detention.
