According to the mountaineer, who recently climbed Everest, he travelled on with his brother Murad, who previously climbed the highest peak of the North America, Mount McKinley. "We made the climb two weeks after an international expedition involving the head of the Republican Club, Saridan Mursagulov. We had business in Baku, but later managed to do the climb," Ashurly stressed.
Ashurly, who completed the Seven Peaks Program initiated by Alpindustry company jointly with Russian Alpinism and Rock-Climbing Federation, did not rule out the possibility of climbing several of Azerbaijan's mountains.
