ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 12. By the end of February, Kazakhstan’s Center for Industry and Export, QazIndustry, approved cost reimbursement applications from companies totaling 84.7 million tenge (approximately $169,468), Trend reports, citing QazIndustry’s Business Promotion Directorate.
"A total of 145 applications were submitted by enterprises seeking partial reimbursement for expenses related to improving labor productivity and promoting goods, works, and services in the domestic market. The total reimbursement amount reached 84.7 million tenge ($169,468)," QazIndustry stated.
Most applications in the labor productivity category came from companies based in Almaty, Astana, Shymkent, and the Karaganda and Almaty regions. These applications were primarily from businesses in metallurgy, agriculture, machinery, furniture production, and construction materials.
Regarding cost reimbursements for product promotion, the highest number of applications came from the North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions, mainly from enterprises in the light and pharmaceutical industries.
QazIndustry, also known as the Kazakhstan Industry Development Institute, plays a key role in the country’s industrial sector. It focuses on supporting industrial modernization, fostering innovation, and attracting investment across various industries, including manufacturing, mining, and energy.
