BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. From January to March 2025, 6.88 million tons of oil were transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil export pipeline, according to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
This marks a decrease of 387,000 tons, or 5.3%, compared to the same period last year, when 7.27 million tons were transported.
Of the total volume transported during the reporting period, 83.2% (5.73 million tons) was oil produced in Azerbaijan. The remaining 16.8% (1.15 million tons) came from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
