TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 19. A total of 17,400 Italian citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes from January through May 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Statistics Committee indicates that this figure represents an increase of 2,100 people, or 13.5 percent, compared to the same period last year.
The purposes of travel for Italian citizens who visited Uzbekistan during the first five months of this year were as follows:
