During 2013, 81 mining and 37 injection wells were in exploitation on the Azerbaijani sea fields "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli", the official report of BP issued on Feb. 13 said.
During 2013, ACG produced on average 239 million barrels or over 32.2 million tons in total) versus 32.9 million tons in 2012.
During 2013, 18 wells (13 mining and five wells for water injection) were in exploitation, and the average production on the field was 69.67 000 barrels.
In 2013 on the "Central Azeri" field, 24 wells ( 17 processing, six-gas injection, and one - water injection) were in exploitation. The average production on this field was 151.76 000 barrels.
26 wells (20 mining and six water injection) were in exploitation on the "Western Azeri field". The average production was 188.16 000 barrels.
20 wells (15 mining and five - water injection) were in exploitation on the "Eastern Azeri field. Last year, the average production on the field was 106.7 000 barrels.
30 wells (16 processing and 14 water injection) were in exploitation on the deepwater field "Gunashli", and the average production was 139.08 000 barrels.
The contract on the exploration of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli was signed in 1994. The proved oil supplies of the field are estimated in the amount of one billion tons.
The share participation in the contract has been distributed in the following way: BP (operator in "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli") - 35,78 percent, "Chevron" - 11,27 percent, "Inpex" - 10,96 percent, AzACG - 11,65 percent, "Statoil" - 8,56 percent, "Exxon" - eight percent, ТРАО - 6,75 percent, "Itochu" - 4,3 percent and ONGC - 2,72 percent.
