Azerbaijan and Hungary are planning a business forum on expanding cooperation on alternative energy, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan, Sahil Babayev, said, Trend reports.
Babayev made the speech at a press conference on economic cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Hungary.
According to the labor minister, there are favorable opportunities for expanding cooperation between public and private structures of the two countries, as well as for the participation of Hungarian companies in auctions within solar and wind energy in Azerbaijan.
"Hungarian companies may be involved in projects on the use of renewable energy sources in our country. Cooperation of Hungarian companies with Tamiz Shahar OJSC (Clean City) and Azersu OJSC on wastewater treatment is also expected," the minister stressed.
He noted that trade relations between the countries show the effectiveness of cooperation.
