BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26. The electronic platform of the European Natural Gas Transportation Network (ENTSOG) has announced this week's gas pumping bids for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), Trend reports.
Thus, as of August 26, a gas delivery request of 372.3 million kWh was received from Greece's Kipoi interconnection point, which is 11 percent lower than at the end of last week.
The volume of daily bids at this point will be 331 million kWh from August 27 through September 1.
The bids at the Komotini point (gas distribution hub in Greece) will total 28.6 million kWh from August 26 through September 1, which is the same as the previous week's figure.
At the Greek node of Nea Mesimvria, orders for August 26 totaled 34.9 million kWh, which is 27.14 percent less than the previous week's figure.
Orders at this node for the period from August 27 through September 1 are set at 30.3 million kWh per day (13.26 percent less than at the end of the previous week).
The volume of gas pumping orders from the Italian outlet Melendugno as of August 26 amounted to 297.6 million kWh.
In the period from August 27 through September 1, orders from this exit point amounted to 271.9 million kWh per day (12.37 percent less than the volume of orders for August 24 and 25).
To note, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, the European segment of the Southern Gas Corridor, has been in operation since the end of 2020 to supply Azerbaijani gas to Europe.
The total length of the TAP is 878 kilometers, of which 550 kilometers pass along the northern part of Greece, 215 kilometers across the territory of Albania, 105 kilometers along the Adriatic Sea bed, and 8 kilometers through the territory of Italy.
This year, gas supplies via TAP may exceed 11.8 bcm.
