BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Azerbaijan exported crude oil and crude oil products derived from bituminous rocks worth $129 million to Greece from January through April 2025, totaling 232,400 tons.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee indicates that
this figure delineates a surge of $92.3 million, reflecting a
3.5-fold escalation in value relative to the corresponding
timeframe in 2024, alongside an augmentation of 177,100 tons,
equating to a 4.2-fold amplification in volume.
During this timeframe, Greece positioned itself as the ninth
largest entity in the importation hierarchy of Azerbaijani crude
oil volumes.
During the initial quadrimester of 2025, Azerbaijan's export
portfolio comprised crude oil and ancillary products, aggregating a
valuation of $4.6 billion and a volumetric output of 8.2 million
tons, disseminated across 17 international markets.
